Uncle Louie's Backyard - Cortland

I do not recommend Uncle Louie's because it is currently closed. You might want to update your Facebook page to reflect this. The restaurant is for sale. I was looking forward to having a steak, but unfortunately, you are closed!

I visited this restaurant with my family while we were in town to see my son at Cortland. The owner came out to apologize, explaining that they were only serving drinks that day. I also noticed a "for sale" sign outside. It’s disheartening to see another local family-run restaurant potentially closing its doors. It’s a tough business out there!

The menu offers an impressive variety of options, and the food is absolutely delicious! Regardless of your preferred dining atmosphere, they have something for everyone—whether you enjoy quiet, cozy corners, a seat near the bar, a spacious dining area, or a comfortable spot to catch the game. Plus, Louie and his team create a welcoming environment that makes you feel right at home. I absolutely love this place! :D

Mediocre at best; it's definitely not a steakhouse!
