This restaurant offers a variety of Swiss dishes in both summer and winter. But as for the filet de...perche it tops it all. With generous quantities and great service. I always aim to visit this restaurant when in the region. A nice variety of wine, and great appetizers too. Also had several encounters when I called for a 'later lunch in Swiss standards ' and they accommodated me each time. Very pleasant experience. Will always visit
IF you 're looking for a genuine old fashion bistrot genevois in the countryside, this place is certainly on the top of the list! They serve two main specialities, Perch filets and Fondue. Their perches are not from poland or else where estern Europe but from...the LAKE LEMAN, less than a kilometer from the place! This to say that it 's hard to make it fresher!! They are served on plate or on two services depending on you apetite! I could recommand on the plate to save some room for their excellent lemon curd tart, just memorable! Definitly a great place with a nice terrace in summer. Same owners for decades a kind or garantee of good service and food.
We found the restaurant a little on the expensive side especially for a plate of “filets de perche”. But on checking the price of other restaurants in the neighbourhood le Soleil appears to be a little cheaper, especially as the sauce tartare and salad are included. The service is very good and the outside garden/terrace very pleasant. We will definitely return.
Service and dinner was great. We actually likes that they split the restaurant depending if you are having fondue or not. All recommendations were great, including the Portuguese wine
We had dinner with our son and his fiancée and the whole experience was splendid. We opted for two courses as we had been told that the desserts had to be eaten and we were pleasantly surprised to find ourselves being offered a mini salad as a complimentary starter . The filet de perche was splendid as was the lemon tart which is , they claim, the best in the world (!). The service was pleasant and efficient and the wine list, although not that comprehensive, had some interesting local options to choose from. We shall return.
