Aramara - CORRAL DEL RISCO

For ambiance, this restaurant can’t be beat. Food on the other hand was very poor. From selection to presentation to preparation I would not recommend and would not go back. Main dishes temperature way off, half cold, dry, over cooked. Service was attentive and timely...but cold and off putting for a beachfront venue. Manager was gracious and refunded our main dishes but certainly doesn’t make up for a bad meal during a high end stay. Very disappointed. Not a typical Four Seasons Resort experience.

I was disappointed this year at this restaurant. I love the location overlooking the beach but the service was slow and bad. The menu changed and not for the better. Our food arrived cold. And it took so long by the time we got it...we didnt want to send it back to have it warmed up.

We are here once during our stay at the Four Seasons. The view is amazing. The service is also FS top notch quality. Highly recommend booking a time so that you are already seated as the sun sets. They have a main menu, kids menu...and a teen menu so don’t hesitate to ask for the relevant one for your kids if the main one doesn’t appeal. The food was solid. I’d say I was a little underwhelmed by the main entrees. The fish entree I had was ok. The steak entree my son had was probably better than either of the fish dishes we had at the table. Where the food does excel is in the sides offered. We all loved the mashed potatoes, Mac and cheese, and roasted veggies... The cocktail menu drinks were also interesting and tasty. Bahia is definitely a place to visit, especially if you’re staying at the Four Seasons...

The service here is excellent and prompt. The food is above average and some items are excellent while others are more run of the mill. My husband and I ate here while on vacation. It was raining the night we were there so they had limited outdoor seating hence we were seated inside. The decor inside is underwhelming at best. There isn't much light and the ceilings are low and oppressive. Unfortunately that put a pall on our overall experience. That said, this is definitely better fare than most hotels so I'd still give it a four. We didn't have our children with us but there were tons of families with children and it seemed to be a very family friendly place.
