Wienerschnitzel - Corpus Christi

Asked for a DBL Cheeseburger, received it with chili, what a mess overall. Could not go back as I was traveling back to San Antonio. Very dissapointing. Also, the customer service here was poor. CalAllen location was a very different experience when I went to that one. But then again, I'm in Corpus.

I wanted to give this place a shot, but I didn't have the best experience. We waited 40 minutes in the drive thru, then we were told that they were out of lemonade and ice cream. We ordered hot dogs, which were pretty good! We also ordered cheese fries, but it was just Shredded Cheese thrown on top. I want to try it again another time, hoping for a better experience.

Great chili dogs and chili burgers. Fries are decent. Food is relatively inexpensive and good. It's always hot (a bit messy but to be expected with chili dogs). Service is usually friendly and fast. Great place to go for a quick bite.

I like the dogs but they really skimp on the chili. I got more chili on my dogs when they were 5 for $5, but now there just isn't enough. I always have great fries when they cook them crispy but the last time they were still all floppy and oily. I'll most likely give them one more try and see what happens. We'll see.

Edit: the ladies name is Alyssia according to the receipt. I saw the student and health worker discount online, figured I?d try this place out, but when I went to the window after ordering and gave her my card and student ID, they said they couldn?t give me a discount ?since you ordered a combo which is already discounted?. I ordered the number one. I guess every number on their menu is excluded from their ?discount? since everything is a combo unless u want just a small snack. There was a sign right before you pull up to the window advertising the 20% off for healthcare, police, firemen etc. I paid $15 for a one person meal. The lady was so rude about it too, before I could respond she interrupts and restates the original total?she said ? sorry? but really? A combo is already discounted? That was the worst excuse for bad customer service ever.
