Rock And Rolls Sushi Lounge

Chef David Lee gave my partner and I an exclusive off-Menu dining experience to present his incredible restaurant. We have made reservations that I recommend to everyone because the institution is not big and is very popular in Corpus Christi, especially for those who live on Padre Island. Upon arrival we were greeted and sitting by the friendly staff and ordered cocktails. Chef Lee joined us to the table and spoke friendly with us for a while, then recommended various dishes. We agreed, and the culinary journey lasted for the next few hours with our server presenting great dishes. The various creations are included in the pictures. Chef Lee is always at this point because he has other facilities he operates, so we were treated to a very exclusive opportunity to try his wonderful creations. I recommend Rock Rolls. This restaurant was great, we from San Antonio and this level of sushi would have been much more expensive? We ordered a good amount of drinks, 4 appetizers and 4 reels, you need to try the Light My Fire Roll) and was surprised when the bill came, honestly thought it would be twice as much? Darian was our server, she did a great job. Great place, highly recommended!

We had a great time in this fun little place. We were the only ones. We started with the fried softshell crab. It was incredible, we even ordered two that we enjoyed so much. The rest of the reels (four in total and I can't get to all their names except the Let it Ride, Light my Fire, and the chief?s special). The service for the roles was really slow sad. And we got happy hour drinks that were good, but seemed very weak on the alcohol. We tried the watermelon martini and cucumber martini. Overall, the food was delicious, but the slow service despite an empty restaurant, and weak drinks was a disappointment. It was also very hard to find rolls that did not have cream cheese in them that I found very strange.

This place was awesome, was carried away with happy hour specials and overspend but Service and food was awesome.

A must have Sushi place!! If you enjoy sushi then you must come here! The food is amazing as well as the Rock n Roll atmosphere. The environment is a very welcoming home feeling. The restrooms are extremely clean which is a must due to my medical needs. The customer service is top notch and great conversationalist. The waitress was extremely knowledgeable of the types of Sushi and recommendations were perfect for us! There is a long wait for food but it is worth it just be sure not to be in a hurry. Huge recognition to our waitress Cait who's knowledge, friendliness and Sushi suggestions made our experience perfect! She even recommended a Sushi roll that was not on the menu but the mix tasted amazing !! Pros: Perfect Sushi Tasty Rolls Extremely Clean Environment and Bathrooms Great Customer Service Very Knowledgeable Welcoming Atmosphere Cons: Parking (Small lot makes it hard to find parking) Final Thoughts: A must have place to eat, would recommend owner to look into expansion as can tell this is becoming a hugely popular place.
