AWESOME HAPPY HOUR!!! Great place for ingenious sushi during the week, loved the food and the prices. Would come here a week when I lived in Corpus. Great service, never waited for anything

Do you ever think that waiters are tired of running their butts out so you don't tap them....if you broke to tap, don't go and eat!!!! And wait staff is usually nice to everyone until they see your face often and know that $2 tip does not come a mater, how beautiful you are... some people are never happy and are just crappy people in general....that's likely why you just hang your mother with....we work hard and have kids to support....we really don't need any business like that....we make $2.15 per hour...we want to drink 6%... ....You are not even an estimated customer...aka is amazing!!!!

Beautiful sushi and authentic Japanese food! Great service

AKA Japanese Downtown. My partner and I had dinner here on Friday night. We didn't have to wait very long to take place, the waiter was friendly, and the service was pretty good even though they were crowded. We enjoyed the atmosphere. The food was excellent. We started with an appetizer of herbal tempura. That was great. For the ducks, my partner ordered the AKA Sirloin Steak, which he really said cooked for perfection. I ordered the seafood joy that was a combination of lobster, shrimp and scallops. It was wonderful. If possible, save space for dessert and order the flaming bananas. You'll be amazed!

This place is so relaxing and I love the staff there very nice. The best sushi that I 've ever eaten in corpus. My favorite dish is the sushi called monkey brains . It 's to die for!!
