Tregarthen's - Cornwall,Isles of Scilly

We didn't have a reservation for dinner and decided to give this place a try since all other restaurants were fully booked. We savored a glass of wine in the cozy sofa seats overlooking the harbor, placed our food order, and were seated at our table when it was almost ready. The food was incredibly tasty and expertly prepared. After our meal, we returned to the comfortable seats for a couple more drinks to cap off the evening. The staff was polite, attentive, yet also friendly and laid-back.

We chose this restaurant for its charming location, but were disappointed by the weak coffee and improperly steamed milk. As someone who has received barista training, I found the quality lacking. Additionally, it was a shame that the cakes were not homemade.

I really enjoyed two wonderful dinner experiences at Tregarthens while on vacation on St. Mary's - it was our favorite place to eat. We also stopped by a few times for coffee. It's a fantastic spot to sit on the terrace, watch the boats, and unwind. The staff were all very friendly and attentive, and they even welcome dogs.

Really special food. I ate from the 'small plates ' menu, and it was truly delicious. Really amazing well balanced dishes. The view is also lovely, and the staff are very kind as well.

Really impressed with the daily special dinner chose the catch of the day which was cooked to perfection. Portions are generous and staff attentive. Impressed!
