Popped in by chance beautiful scallops and squid to start sea bass was perfectly cooked sticky pudding for dessert lovely place full of history

We came here sat sept. only we and came with we ordered drinks, appetizers and net. the net came in the hour waiting for food! they do not allow to book and we turn away people, so they would think they want a quick envelope. but hours to get net! it is a real shame that eating was nice, but that waited me right from the return.

The staff at this restaurant is really friendly. I was delighted by the variety of options available for me to try. The cozy ambiance near the log burner was perfect. Everything was great.

Popped in on a Wednesday night. Turned out to be steak night which included two steaks and a bottle of house wine for The whole meal was lovely. We asked for one to be cooked medium rare and one medium. They were both cooked...to perfection. My wife had the sticky toffee for dessert and was equally impressed with it. Service was great also. Certainly worth popping in if you're nearby.. Highly recommended.

My partner and I ventured into the Witchball for the first time after nearly getting blasted off the Lizard point on a very dramatic January evening. We were a bit early for dinner service but felt very welcome to chill out warm up with...a pint, and got the feeling it was a well-loved haunt by many (including the ghost that's reportedly in residence I really enjoyed reading through the Haunted Pubs booklet available to buy at the bar, which has sparked off many adventures since. Bang-on time our food order was taken, and I'd been excited by the interesting veggie vegan options on the modest, delicious-sounding menu. My meal certainly didn't disappoint, a delicious homemade veggie pesto pasta dish that really filled me up, I savoured every mouthful! My partner had the duck and enjoyed it just as much. We'd had a naughty prawn starter too, and couldn't get enough of the buttery sauce! Lovely friendly service, great food, a real gem
