The Halfway House

The food at this restaurant was absolutely delicious, and the interior was impressively clean and well-maintained. However, there was only one person managing the bar during a busy Sunday carvery, which meant that our food would go cold if we needed more drinks. One of the waitresses was a bit rude, as she only gave us one small sachet of ketchup for our children to share. Additionally, the elderly lady working at the carvery could clearly benefit from some assistance.

We visited here for an impromptu tea with my son and partner. I have to say that the menu seemed quite good and there was plenty to choose from.

Everyone was very friendly and helpful. We were with a fairly large group to attend a wedding in the area. We were served with fresh and hot food, and the wait was not longer than it took to cook. The prices were good for the quality of what we chose.

Called in without reservation and had an excellent choice of meals we choose their deal of 2 meals for £16 we chose roasts which were totally briilliant best we have had for a very long time meat was tender and tasty and the choice of veg could not be criticised look forward to going back

Hemos visitado este pub varias veces antes en visitas a la familia y nunca me ha decepcionado. El servicio es excelente, la comida deliciosa una buena relación calidad-precio. Todos tuvimos un asador que era precioso, como siempre, verduras. buenas opciones frescas y bien preparado. Pedí tarta de merengue limón de postre. No podía creer el tamaño de! Era enorme. realmente no creo que me gustaría poder comer todo pero era tan deliciosa, así que final lo sustituyeron por. No podía salir. Honestamente puedo decir que fue la mejor tarta de merengue limón que he tenido. Todo el mundo tenía postres deliciosos, Casablaca, helados, etc. y todos nos vino de nuestra comida. Sin duda volveremos.
