The Boatyard Cafe

This café is fantastic! The service is friendly, the food is freshly cooked, and they have a lovely outdoor seating area as well as spacious indoor seating. I had a delicious breakfast and great coffee here.

This charming cafe in the boatyard is a gem. We were impressed with the variety of delicious gluten-free options available, including burgers, toasted sandwiches, and a wide assortment of cakes. While we only stopped by for takeaway coffee in the morning, the breakfast offerings looked fantastic as well. The coffee was excellent, and we appreciated that the cafe is dog-friendly both indoors and outdoors.

We absolutely adore this café. The employees are incredibly warm and friendly, and the food is consistently excellent. It's like stumbling upon a hidden treasure when you discover a place like this. There's nothing to fault here. We can't wait for our next visit.

We’d been recommended this little cafe , which is just across from the Cornish Seal Sanctuary . I really wanted to like the place and loved the cafe is in a real working boat yard. We were the only ones here and the young lady behind the counter was friendly and helpful. The reason for my 3 stars is due to the other staff member, lady /owner ?. We’d ordered our drinks and food and whilst the first Lady served our drinks , a customer came in and tried to provisionally book a table for 10 in a weeks time. She just made a big deal out of it , taking ages and sounding quite awkward and difficult… meanwhile our breakfast orders were in her hands so we waited about 25 mins just for bacon n egg sandwich. Food was ok. Our drinks all finished , n the young lady kinda had to apologise . Cafes bang these out in 10mins max. We’d defo go again and hope for a better service.

The cafe was a disappointment due to the food being served in cardboard containers and not on proper crockery. Last year they served their food properly on plates and in cups. We will NOT be eating at this establishment again. It’s very sad to see food service change from good to poor. And this is not reflected in the price.
