If someone were to ask me about my favorite restaurant pub, I would definitely choose The Amboss in Newquay, Cubert. My absolute favorite thing about this place is their amazing Sunday roasts. The first time I tried it, I was blown away by the delicious pork gravy that made my taste buds dance with joy. The kartoffels (potatoes) were also amazing, bursting with extraordinary flavors that I savored slowly to fully enjoy. Overall, The Amboss is a fantastic place to dine, drink, and unwind. While nothing can quite compare to this pub, sometimes a juicy Big Mac hits the spot. However, every time I wake up, I am filled with excitement for the delicious homemade meals that await me. It truly astounds me how they manage to make their dishes so incredibly tasty.

Thank you for accommodating our last-minute reservation! The food at this restaurant is fantastic, with generous portion sizes. The steak was cooked to perfection, and we especially enjoyed the mild blue cheese sauce. The staff were attentive and accommodating, going above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. They even allowed us to swap out a main course for a different one when one dish was too spicy for one of us, and only charged us for the cheaper option. The variety of beer and gin options was also impressive. Overall, we highly recommend this restaurant.

Amazing food, best meal we had in a long time, lovely pub, friendly staff and planning to go again another night even if just for the malteser cheesecake.. yum!!

Very good meal for the family of four during the kovid. square lacked a little atmosphere, but that was due to the entire social distancing. very attentive service and all four of us enjoyed our meal. Top brands for the cake!

If you’re in Holywell Bay you must visit here. I think that may have been the best burger I’ve ever had, and everyone around the table were so impressed. The food is absolutely perfect, the ingredients are amzing and the service by Alex was unbelievable....Honestly please please don’t come this way and not stop here for food! I think there were tears in my mums eyes with the pie! stars in every way!
