This is St Austell’s best kept secret. It is a delightful oases. Great food, nicely presented and pleasant staff. Well worth a visit if you are in town.
A random visit without pre booking, got shown to a table straight away. Very friendly service. Very clean and inviting cafe. Covid safe feeling. Breakfast was very hot and delicious, we are looking forward to another family breakfast together.
So we ordered and waited 40 mins for a panini and a ploughman’s there were 6 staff and about 40 covers so not busy at all as a catering manger of old !!!and when it eventually came it was rubbish food £9 for a sandwich...is disgusting when it looks like this. They cut it long ways which pored out the filling and the garnish was slimy off leaves!! Do yourself a favour and save your money. Go somewhere else.
Waited almost an hour for a below average, over priced ploughman's lunch at a relatively quiet period. The coffees were nice though.
