Crossbow - Cornwall,Isles of Scilly

A group of us visited here for lunch. We were welcomed and seated as soon as we arrived. The staff were lovely and food was great and reasonably priced too.Our food arrived and the plates were full. We were pleasantly surprised on how generous they were with the portions. The three men in our group were like excited little boys when they saw the size of their burgers! Would definitely recommend. We visited this restaurant for Sunday lunch after booking the day before (highly recommended). We had initially tried to book at King Arthur's Arms across the road, but were informed that they do not serve Sunday roasts in the summer as there is not enough demand. However, the Crossbow patrons seemed to disagree as every table was full and they had to turn away many customers. The food was delicious, portion sizes were generous, and prices were reasonable. The staff were extremely friendly and went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. This will definitely be my choice for dining when I am in Tintagel again.
