Cedars - Cornwall

Cedars is one of those diamond-in-the-rough food trucks. Except its not a food truck. It's in the food court at the mall. Location aside, however, it has all the makings of a great bite on the run. It's clean, its very affordable, the owner is there every day greeting you with a smile. The food is good amd the ingredients are fresh. There is a bit of a lack of consistency in the spices and flavours but it adds a bit of quaintness to it all. In summary you get what you pay for and what you pay for is quality!

This is a personal favorite of my in Cornwall. For $10 canadian you get chicken Gyro with soda and garlic potatoes

The BEST shawarmas in town! Always perfect, fresh and tasty! Always awesome customer service! The older gentleman, possibly owner, is a gem! His smile could light up anyone's day!

Decent shawarma I didn't try the gyros even though I really wanted to as the meat looked a bit scary. The chicken looked fairly fresh. Has kind of a subway setup, you pick your meat and toppings and the crew will prep the sandwich the way you want it. I got the chicken gyros which was ok. Meat was a bit dry. The sauce was a garlic sauce which was really just garlic mayo. I got a combo and added potato wedges to it with more garlic mayo, at first I thought it was a sauce but really it was mayo so it wasn't very good with my wedges. For a quick seldom bite it was ok.
