As we were sitting parallel to the service counter, we could observe the various orders being prepared and served, quite quickly. However, when we noticed our order being placed on the counter top under some strong lighting, it remained there for over 10 minutes, and the waiters seemed to have disappeared Eventually, some considerable time after placing our order, we were served. Unfortunately all of the food was cold and some of the chicken was under cooked (pink) and therefore inedible. I also noticed the staff behind the counter handling the food quite a lot with their bare hands. We departed as soon as we could.
I went with my 2 adult children and 2 grandchildren for a birthday treat, it was awful, chicken was dry and really just inedible, I had a vegan burger mushroom and hallumi and that was equally as bad, so very disappointed, I'd be reluctant to return, a very disappointed customer
Amazing taste and really great service even when I do mistake with my order they sort out quickly and easily even let me keep food what I ordered by mistake very friendly staff member and menager I definitely will go ther again and again
We had to wait for over 45 minutes for our food. While waiting one of the customers who knew how long we’ve been waiting suggests we should call their attention. When the food finally arrived though it was cold, and we asked why we have to be served this late? One of the waitresses in particular, Rachel, was very rude. We are dissatisfied and disappointed because is a special day for one of my daughters, this ended up ruining it for her and the family.
Landed into Nando's Cork with great expectations after hearing all the hype about their chicken. The first issue is their **** menu is more complicated than a rocket science manual. Honestly, had I not heard good things about the food that alone would have kept me from going in. Atrocious menu design! Then comes the waiter who asks if we've been to Nando's before, he then explains that we've to use our phone to scan the barcode on our table, What the actual F! Can you not just take our order? Apparently no, we are then instructed to place the order online using our phone only in order to do so I have to create an account and in keeping with the ridiculous menu design, they've deliberately made the ordering process near on impossible as I have to wait for a confirmation code to be sent to my email address before I could complete the account sign up in order to place the order. I mean, this is beyond ridiculous. The code did not arrive and in my frustration, I was told I could place the order at the till. For F's Sake, you couldn't make it up, just taking the F'ing order like any normal restaurant. We're now frustrated and annoyed and feel like walking out. Anyway, after confusion over the sauces at the till eventually the order was placed. Food arrived fairly promptly to be fair but my chips were cold and the chicken was overcooked, I could have cooked it better myself. In fact, I'm surprised Nando's corporate management didn't ask me to kill, gut and cook the chicken myself. Clearly, the morons at the top have decided it would be a great idea to ask customers to order online so they can eventually get rid of half their workforce. Do yourself a favour and avoid the corporate greed support a small local restaurant that cares.
