Very delicious Italian Greek dishes served very hot freshly recommend the meat balls with either chips or spaghetti. Worth a visit, we were not disappointed several times.
Really good food, ate outdoors watching people pass, sighting an occasional cat. We walked back through a smaller alley (off the street) to find this jewel. Complementary fresh bread which was tastey and appreciated. Enjoyed a local beer here as well.
The restaurant is very busy so it is always a better idea to come well in advance. The service is nice even though slow now and then. We had some fizzy drinks and Moussaka which was nice, would have it again. What I do not like is when you are charged for bread without any notice. I am okay with paying for the bread if I want to eat it, but pushing people into buying is not something what I am okay with. Also the plating could have been better.
Setting was lovely. In a picturesque Venetian square that in itself gave it an extra star. what attracted us was the smell of garlic and oregano smells. Starters were beautiful we had hand cut chips and of course tzatziki. We then shared one of the special belissimo pizzas which was just a margarita really. Whilst we were eating there were live singers and band that came and set the moment. Great experience and every table was full of eager diners.
Stumbled across Belissimo whilst walking around the old town. There was a queue which was promising and the food being served out looked delicious. We were seated quickly and orders taken. Took a while for drinks to arrive but it was orthodox Easter Friday and extremely busy. Gyros and souvlaki were good but had been sitting under the warming lights for too long and had dried out, hence the 4 stars. Sure it is 5 star during less busy times.
