Swanky's Taco Shop Germantown - Cordova

Hit the door around 12:23 directly at the summit with the midday crowd and had a little wait to place my order. (25 minutes). back at the table arrived our order 6 minutes later. we ordered both grilled items that are prepared on the back. Many of the basic Taco variations are presented directly in front of them. I must say the garnelen tacos were pretty good and my partner liked her chimichanga, although the plastic knife to wish it with left much. uniquely spiced chips and salsa. we both have the feeling full when the portion size was quite generous. when they come their lunch hour, it can be a little tight if they don't work close, from the hour it's just a few minutes waiting. fun.

So, we went to Swanky’s and had a good experience mostly. The food served was fresh and delicious. The only issue or problem was service speed. It was kinda slow; waited a bit too long to get our appetizers. Our drinks came relatively quickly, so that’s a plus. I’d recommend!

Dinner with my mother here tonight. We both enjoyed our meal and app(steak carbon tacos, taco salad and eggrolls). Staff was friendly. One star deducted for the restaurant being wayyyy too cold

Came on a Friday night and was able to ordered quickly. I ordered the Nachos add Chicken with an order of Chips and Salsa. The Nachos were just ok.. as there were some burnt chips and the toppings weren’t evenly spaced out. I also would have liked to add more toppings than what it came with. The chips and salsa was very good! I would give it another shot to try their burrito bowls and guacamole.

DO NOT RECOMMEND. I went with my family and every single plate was terrible. We ordered the: Street tacos- chewy greasy meat with green salsa slapped in top. The tortilla was old and cold. Fried crawfish tacos- the least terrible from the bunch. Barely any fish. Juans burger- the meat was dry and poorly seasoned. There was ketchup slathered on, wayy too much. Kids enchilada- the meat was okay (salty) but the tortilla was old. The rice that comes with each meal is just boiled brown rice. Not seasoned. At the register, the girl didnt care about her job at all. She was speaking super quietly, I could barely hear. She didnt know the menu and had to ask for every question I asked. They gave us a number and we sat down. They first brought a chicken quesadilla, we took it back and kept waiting. Then they brought us another dish that didnt look like anything we ordered. We werent sure but that was the only plate that had come our way after so much waiting. They gave us regular milk instead of the chicolate milk and no utensils or ketchup. We got up to ask for to-go boxes and I was ignored until I had to reach out loudly. As I was waiting for the to-go boxes, i saw the foos runner touch the bottom of the broom pan with his bare hands and immediately turn around to deliver a plate to a table. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.
