Please don 't let the humble appearance fool you! This place. Has got. Some GOOD freaking food! Husband got the fried chicken, fried green tomatoes and slaw (just like my Granny used to make) and I stole some. Then I stole some more. All in between bites of my own GIANT double bacon cheeseburger! I was aggressively happy! Then I ran out of room in my stomach. And that made me sad. Then I remembered I 'll have it for later. Then I was aggressively happy again. Husband says the chicken makes him think of what the original KFC would have probably tasted like when they first started up and were serving up fresh, seasoned, delicious fried chicken! I would move out here just to eat at this place every freaking day of my life. Jeff and Von 's in Cordova Alabama. Jeff cooks, Von serves you up. This is home cooking at its finest! Vegetarian options: Their vegetables are delicious! Tastes like everything is homegrown as well as homemade! Parking: Parking directly in front of the building and along the side of the road. Road curves in a U in front, and doubles back so there 's no having to turn around to get out and go the way you came. Easy, free parking and fluid traffic flow coming and going. Kid-friendliness: I saw a couple of toys in the corner to help keep kids entertained, as well as a tv going in the corner. Kid options on menu. It 's a very mom and pop place where it feels like kids should be at every table kicking their feet and laughing. Jeff Von’s Place just served me one of the best bacon cheeseburgers I’ve had in a long time. All the way with lettuce, tomatoes, onion, pickles, ketchup, mayonnaise, and mustard. It was cooked fresh to order. Fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Sweet tea was on point. Perfect meal all the way around. Owners were very friendly and hospitable. Really enjoyed chatting with locals too. Will visit again as I drive through. Service: Dine in

Great food fast service. Best burger you will eat. It has the small town greasy spoon vibe.
