Your Ribeye Steak is the best in town. You're t-bone steak is dying. Our server Jerome tonight was brilliant, he took our drinks orders informed us about the specials recommended some appetizers and gave us about 5 minutes to decide what we wanted and our food was in about 20 minutes. The stamped dessert is a chocolate lover dream. Jerome informed us that we are not able to eat it all and that we can enjoy a little tomorrow because it is huge and comes with two pots of ice absolutely delicious. If you are looking for a big steak house to go and in the Coralville Iowa City area I highly recommend to LongHorn Steakhouse. We drive from cedar rapids, which is about 15 mi away, just to eat their steak absolutely worth the drive.
As always, food and service was perfectly phenomenal from beginning to end. Thank you, Mrs. Sydney (our server) for laughing and the delicious strawberry limonades for the sweet 16 of my daughter come!
Invited someone to dinner. We have an appetizer, 2 main foods, 2 alcoholic beverages and a dessert. We walked at 4:00 and sat at the bar, to the left, low seats. At that time not busy for a Saturday. For appetizers we have the Firecracker Chicken Wraps. Comes on chopped Romain salad, served with diced tomatoes and house ranch. I do not remember what they are involved with, but it is a spicy mix of what seemed to be a cheesy pureed mix (chicken, cheese, spices). Reminds me of a wanted wrap, but with a spicy chicken filling. Renegade Sirloin was great. He asked about the medium well, and it came out perfectly. It was embarrassing, but not sharp. It tasted as if it were well grilled. Was not chewing at all, had a really good tenderness, was easy to cut and easy to eat. Hard fat. The fries were seasoned like steaks (steakhouse seasonings, like a cracked pepper). Steakhouse Mac and cheese had garlic in it, parmesan cheese, and bacon, but it tasted as if it were something too garlicky. Not terrible, but a little bit. He saved the rest so he didn't exaggerate his steak. Sweet potato was amazing. Only enough butter and brown sugar. Flos fillet and Lobster dick were fantastic. The lobster dick was super easy to pull, but because I let it cool too much before I ate it, I decided to take it with me and then heat it up properly. Flos Sirloin was asked to be medium. It came a bit rare for my taste, but since I sometimes ate my meat on the rare side, it didn't bother me. It's almost melted in my mouth. I have two Piña Coladas. Very delicious, very well mixed. Average price (approx. $ 8.50 per). Finally we have the dessert, Chocolate Stampede. Mr. ALMIGHTY! Pretty part! 2 large vanilla ice buckets, and 2 VERY LARGE slices of chocolate cake. So good, but when we were full, we took most. I was so full that I forgot to make a picture of it until I put it in a box. Every penny worth it! Will be back DEFINITELY.
This is one of the best places I've ever eaten. The restaurant was very quiet and relaxed. Our server was Mindy and she did a fantastic job. I have some appetizers, including Texas Tonion and spicy chicken bites. Some of the best chickens I've ever had! Really good homemade bread and butter. The chopped steak was AMAZING, so well seasoned and juicy and tasteful. Great pommes. Didn't have room for Dessert. Would definitely come back!!!
Really enjoyed the environment, service, and most importantly the food. Very delicious steak, shrimp and greens. Always a good choice for a special occasion. A+ in my book.
