Jamila's Kitchen Grill - Coquitlam

I regularly order Afghan food for takeout, and it’s always wonderful and delicious. The portion sizes are generous, and the staff are friendly. Highly recommended!

We decided to try a new restaurant instead of our usual spot since it has a 4.1 rating. Unfortunately, we were disappointed. This place doesn't really serve authentic Indian cuisine; the flavors and spice levels are quite different from what we expected. The naan was also not soft. As vegetarians, we only ordered Indian dishes, and while they may have other options that are better, my family did not enjoy the Indian food at all.

Wow! This restaurant is outstanding. It's my favorite spot in the Tri Cities, even better than many options in Vancouver. I've ordered from Jamila numerous times, and the food is consistently incredible. Whether I choose pizza or traditional dishes, it's always top-notch. They also accommodate your preferred level of spiciness (I love it extra hot!). I highly recommend visiting this place! They truly contribute to the community with their philanthropic efforts.

The butter chicken is only chicken in spicy tomato soup. NOT a traditional butter chicken at all. Disgusting. My grandmother's souvlaki was good, so the extra star. Also, did not say on their website that they use Tordash. If I had known, I wouldn't have ordered it. Disgusting, over spices, food. Will never order again, and need to find another solution for dinner.

Quite simply some of the best Indian-Western fusion food in all of the Tri-Cities. If you're a fan of beautifully thick and saucy Indian curries like are renowned in London, then this is your place. Generous portions. Plus, their staff are some of the most friendly and accommodating folks when ordering or picking up.
