Toa's Ohana Hawaiian - Copperas Cove

This restaurant primarily focuses on takeout, but there is an option to dine in. The food was prepared well; however, I found the pulled pork to be a bit salty, and the cabbage didn't quite suit my taste. It seemed to clash with the main dishes, almost resembling a Southern-style brown gravy. The chicken teriyaki was tender, but the marinade didn't seem to penetrate the meat thoroughly. While I might consider returning for the value, it's not a place I feel I have to revisit. On a positive note, the staff was quite friendly.

Amazing food, nice place to sit down in, though they do seem to be setup more for carry out which is a good option here. Either way, all their food is great and Hawaiian inspired and I can highly recommend for anyone wanting something different. The pork and macaroni salad really turned out amazing in particular. Parking: There is plenty of parking, but it is in back which needs to be accessed by accessing one of the streets near the series of shops and then accessing the alleyway behind the store to get inside, hard to find, but once you find it, there's plenty of parking.

The food was absolutely amazing! I ordered the curry katsu with spicy mayo and rice, and it was heavenly. I finished it so quickly that I didn’t even have time to snap a photo! The service was quick, and the ambiance felt like a lovely family gathering. I really enjoyed the laid-back atmosphere, complete with fans and music; it almost felt like I was somewhere else for a moment! My husband, who was stationed in Hawaii, assured me that this was the real deal—it took him back as well!

Following a frustrating experience with an unreliable Uber Eats driver, the restaurant staff reached out to me directly to rectify the situation. I truly appreciate their dedication to customer care!
