Hooley House Sports Pub Grille - Copley

Amid a multitude of chain restaurants, this place seemed like a suitable spot for a drink. I made the right choice ordering a glass of wine, as the environment had more of a lower-class pub vibe, frequented by locals. Upon observing the lack of appealing food options, it was clear that the exterior of the restaurant was more inviting than the interior.

I visited Hooley House in Montrose on February 19th at 10:15 am. I was disappointed on several levels. Although our server Asia was very good, most of the tables, including mine, were not clean. The meal seemed to take twice as long as it should have, and it appeared that customers had the ability to control the music through the jukebox. This was not ideal for a family restaurant, as inappropriate hip hop and explicit lyrics were playing. Overall, the restaurant seemed neglected and I would not recommend it for families.

The food and atmosphere at this restaurant are fantastic. The bartenders are all efficient and attentive. It's a great place to watch early events, as there are TVs lining the bar. I have only been here twice, but I will definitely be returning to enjoy the experience again.

The food was good. the service was bad. we saw manager and other server more than we saw or server on our table. she took order food and did not come back to check and see if we needed anything. another server brought us a box to go and we had to ask for our bill.

$9 small bowl of Mac n Cheese...too pricey. No refills on the beverages. They really need to get a grip on their blender or whatever is going on at the bar before they give someone a stroke. There is absolutely no soundproofing in there. Very scary and LOUD.
