Sully's Wharf - Copiague

This restaurant keeps getting worse. They either don't have the items listed on the menu or they are not prepared well. Their drink selection is also lacking, with overpriced wine being a particular disappointment. I live nearby and had hoped that they would improve, but they continue to let me down. It's a shame because I miss the way things used to be at Katch.

This place is a rip-off! I paid $14 for frozen chicken fingers and fries. The prices aren't even on the menu because they know they're overcharging. My friend ordered stuffed shells and chicken Marsala, a special for the night, but they didn't taste good. The stuffed shell was crunchy and the chicken Marsala had a green tint to it. Another friend waited over 20 minutes for wings, but they weren't anything special despite the long wait. We had to dine outside on picnic benches with no table service. I definitely won't be returning.

This restaurant seems to be declining in quality rather than improving. I ordered the fish and chips, but they were overcooked and the fries were lukewarm. My wife also had to send back her cold fries and overcooked calamari. Even the coke was disappointing as it had too much seltzer. The only highlight was the choco taco ice cream. The staff were the only positive aspect of our visit. I may return for the live music, but I won't be eating here again.

Avoid at all costs! This location is subcontracted from the town by a poorly run company that wants to make all their money in 2 months, with as little costs as possible. All the nice things about this location were paid for by taxpayers, nothing to do with this company trying to milk as much money out of local residents as possible. Same company runs Katch at Venetian shores, where they make their money, on drinks. Tanner was a package deal. You've been warned.

Just a heads up that the reasonable prices at this place are gone. Had a nice dinner and drinks there one week, and the next week the prices shot up without warning. As an example, the Fish and Chips dinner went up from $13 to $17. The drink I had ordered the week before at $13, now 16! We were shocked when we got the bill, and were told their suppliers prices went up so they had no choice. Our total bill was $56 one week, then shot up to $70.60 the next week. We have both receipts. When we tried to find a table, they were taken by people not ordering anything from the restaurant. Just sitting there listening to the live music. We were told that was allowed, and we found someplace else to sit. As an alternative, we now just bring our own food, drink and chairs. Would have happily ordered from the restaurant if the prices had stayed reasonable and it was better managed.
