Gosforth Hall Inn - Copeland

It was a place that was immersed in the evening, and we both left most of it. pity as sitting area was great.

Beautiful eating, beautifully decorated and pleasant staff. the menu was very diverse and a large selection of gins had a great sitting area in the free when they wanted to sit outside and there were enough heating to make sure everyone was cozy. we were couples and. there was a lot of choice to satisfy everyone. good wine and beer selection.

We were last week in gosforth hall inn and could not recommend it enough. the staff is great, very friendly and courteous. they even made us a lunch package because we were gone early the last day, so we were missing at the breakfast. the hotel itself is...beautiful, many character and the rooms are spacious and clean, nice eating also in the restaurant. they even have an on-site kit that roams around the garden. overall a nice stay and we will be back! thank you.

A nice country pub. The decor inside was a bit sparse but that might have been because they had taken some tables away because of Covid. The food was a bit mixed. My wild boar burger tasted of sausage meat no sense of it...being boar. And it didn’t come with the extras you expect with a burger (salad pickles etc) it was just a huge hunk of sausage. The rack of lamb was over cooked. But the creme brûlée was very nice. The service was friendly.
