I've only been here for breakfast on Sunday mornings and if you can beat the church crowds you'll come out ahead. THIS PLACE IS POPULAR! If you're on a time crunch and you go here at a typical meal time, you may find yourself waiting 20-30 minutes for a table. The food (or at least the breakfast) I had was very good and incredibly filling. The portions are huge by my standards so a to go box is always a must for me. Despite the crazy crowds I've experienced there, the server has always been polite and the food has always come out within 10-15 minutes at most. I travel 30 minutes to eat here with my daughter (Coopersburg is the halfway point).
I had been here several times before the pandemic. I returned couple weeks ago and I couldn’t believe how much this diner has changed and not for the better. First off the place was somewhat busy but terribly short staffed. It was a solid 15 minutes before our drink orders were even taken. I noticed that most of the sandwich items don’t come with fries, instead they place a cheap bag of chips on the plate. I’m sorry if you’re charging 11/12 dollars for a sandwich stop being so cheap and serve fries with them. Having a Father who ran a pretty famous restaurant in NY it’s unreal that being busy that the owner doesn’t get off his butt and help with the customers food. He just sits there and doesn’t pitch in at all. The salad bar is now gone which I and many people liked. To sum it up if you are going to be cheap people WILL start to notice. We found another place and believe me we have spread the word.
Dinner between 10 to 20 per person. Food was hot, appetizers were good. Didn't get dessert...because you get soup, salad, plus entrée with one side.
Had my first delicious Gyro in a long time. Definitely worth the trip!
