La Brochette Bistro - Cooper City

First time coming here with my family and will definitely not be the last. Our overall experience at La Brochette Bistro was fantastic! From the moment we were greeted at the entrance, I knew i’d love the place. We had the opportunity to try various plates from appetizer, to entrees and desserts, all which were perfectly plated, tasted exquisite and were all provided in the timeliest manner. My absolute favorites were the beef brochette, pan seared salmon, french onion soup and crème brûlée. Needless to say my family and I will be returning to this lovely restaurant. I want to shout from the rooftops how AMAZING this place is! When I came back from a trip to France in December I was on the search for the best French restaurants here in South Florida. I was absolutely delighted to find this restaurant! I’m in love with this place! The atmosphere is lovely, the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable, and the food is to DIE FOR! We started with the grilled octopus which was probably the best I’ve ever had (and I’ve had lots of octopus! for the entree I got the special, Dover sole, and my son had the mussels and we finished off with an out of this world banana pudding ? The food is so delicious! Excellent quality and prepared and presented beautifully. I will be back again and again and again!

What a disappointment. The pear appetizer was very nice; however, our other three dishes were not. The octopus was rubbery and way too salty. The waiter didn’t seem to find it odd that I only had a few bites. The lamb chops and skirt steak were mediocre.

My wife and I went here for a nice date night. Liked the atmosphere, not too stuffy, but cozy. Good selection for food, and the service was very attentive and welcoming.
