Under The Elms - COOMA

This charming old-fashioned café has a welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff. It's an ideal spot for a casual meal while heading to the mountains. Both indoor and outdoor seating options are available, and the portion sizes are generous. The café takes COVID safety seriously, with ample space between tables and plenty of hand sanitizer. I will certainly make a point to stop here again. Rating: 4.5.

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! I dropped by on Saturday for a quick break on my way back to Canberra, and the service was exceptional. The staff was very attentive and took our order with a smile, even in the late afternoon. I highly recommend this place—it's much better than other places nearby. The team is really friendly, and I look forward to returning on Saturday to try their lunch menu. Thank you so much!

We stopped in Cooma for lunch on our way to Canberra, and since it was Mother's Day, we decided to search for a cafe to dine at. This place exceeded our expectations! Two of us ordered the seafood chowder and agreed it was the best we've ever had. My husband tried the Hungarian goulash and mentioned the same. I highly recommend this cafe!

Clearly a local favorite! This charming old-style café offers friendly and prompt service along with delicious, fresh food. During my visit, I noticed a couple of tables ordering the German sausages, and they seemed to be regulars with that dish. I’ll definitely have to try it on my next visit!

I had a delicious chicken schnitzel wrap and a chai latte at this lovely place in Cooma. It's a nice spot to take a break. It seemed like the manager was busy training two teenage staff members while I was there.
