Coolum Beach Charcoal

Can't have fine dining all the time and this is a good reliable lunch time meal - a not very fashionable Hawaiian pack of chicken, chips and a couple of banana and pineapple fritters was ideal for a fast lunch.

Meant to be fast food and convenient but this was anything but.Watched as everyone else got served until I was the only one left - staff didn't seem to notice or care that I was waiting - didn't ask if I wanted anything.Eventually I asked about my order and they said the slip must have fallen on the floor, no apology and the meal wasn't worth the wait.

Nothing special but good for a takeaway lunch if you are looking for a chicken fix and better than other alternatives. Some good old favourites like Hawaiian pack.

We grabbed quite a few chickens for xmas, and we usually have a takeaway at least once a fortnight (we not big takeaway people). But charcoal is our go to for sure.We travel frequently and our first meal upon arriving home is always charcoal, I order our meal, duck to Coles for milk and bread, and back to grab our order! They are fast and efficient and I love it.

Conveniently located in the Coles supermarket complex, they do a good variety of chicken and seafood dishes. Can do basic grilled chicken or the good old fashioned packs like the Hawaiian box with half a chicken and banana and pineapple fritters.Good value and fast service
