Toki Poke Ramen - Cookeville

Lambros and Helen, I recently learned that your restaurant has closed, and I am truly sorry to hear this news. I know it must have been a difficult decision for you both. I want to express my gratitude for the many years of service you have provided. I have fond memories of visiting Gondola since I was a child growing up in Cookeville. Even though I now live in North Carolina, whenever I return home with my family, our first stop is always Gondola for a sausage and onion pizza. I hope to see you both relocate in the future, and if you do, I will be one of the first in line to visit. Thank you for everything you have done, and I hope you can enjoy some well-deserved rest during this time.

In general, we were not satisfied with our take-out experience at this restaurant. My husband ordered the House Specialty pizza (without green peppers) and we were very let down. The pizza was lacking in flavor, seasoning, and sauce. The pepperoni was scarce, the mushrooms were watery, and the crust was soggy on the bottom. Additionally, there were no COVID precautions in place, so we do not feel safe dining in or ordering from this restaurant regularly. Unfortunately, we will not be coming back here.

I stayed at the hotel nearby and was in search of a nearby restaurant. What a fantastic discovery! The staff was incredibly friendly, and the food was delicious. I will definitely be returning in the future.

Everyone was very nice and pleasant, we ordered a takeout, the pizza was ready when we stopped by. A bit disappointed that it was a thin crust, and sort of pricey for the size $16), but overall, it was a good experience.

My son suggested this place for dinner because it was within a walking distance from our hotel. I got the baked ravioli with portabelo mushroom and it was delicious!!! My son got the chicken alfredo which was okay but he said it was good. The chicken was a little chewy and the sauce needed more seasoning in my opinion otherwise the food was good. They overcharged my son by $1 on his meal.
