Panera Bread - Cookeville

Edit (Dec 13, 2021): I've included more pictures, and I'm happy to report that my most recent visit resulted in fantastic baguettes. Thank you, Panera, for listening! If this quality continues, I will update my star rating! Update (Feb 21, 2021): We ordered food here again, and the baguettes were PERFECT—even the pieces we received in the bag with our group soup! Thanks once again for making improvements. I've changed my rating to 5 stars; keep up the great work!!!

I absolutely love their tomato soup served with a French baguette. It’s always fresh and hot, so I never have to wait long. It’s so much better than a typical burger with cold fries. The place is consistently clean as well. Their turkey club is fantastic, too!

This place is a fantastic spot for lunch and dinner. The flatbread pizza is quite large for one person, but it’s absolutely delicious. The Chipotle Chicken Avocado Melt is one of the best sandwiches I've ever had, although the chips weren't very impressive (maybe consider a replacement?). Be sure to finish off your meal with a chocolate croissant—you won’t regret it! The prices are a bit on the high side for casual dining, but I’ll definitely be coming back.

The food was excellent during our visit. We had been wanting to try the flatbread pizzas for quite some time and they were delicious as well as the salads that came with them. My only complaint was with the cleanliness of the tables. There were lots of empty tables but only two of them looked clean enough to eat on. All of the other tables had crumbs and obviously needed to be cleaned. There weren't very many people dining in so it was surprising to have to hunt for a clean table. Also the men's restroom sink faucet was out of order so I could not wash my hands and had to resort to hand sanitizer. I know there are many staffing shortages these days, so this is just a small complaint since the food was delicious and the service was also good.
