Logan's Roadhouse - Cookeville

I went to this restaurant with my father and immediately noticed some issues. The menus were dirty from previous guests and the table we sat at was also dirty, with food and rubbish on the floor underneath. My father ordered a medium-sized steak, but it came out overcooked and the green beans were too salty. He had to send it back and the replacement was almost rare. The bathrooms were filthy, with overflowing bins and vomit in one of the urinals. Unfortunately, I would recommend looking for a different place if you're craving a good steak. It's a shame because this restaurant used to be known for their steak. Also, be wary of paying in cash as they do not offer refunds, so it's better to pay with a card if possible.

I ordered the baked potato and received pieces of burnt skin instead. The skin was cut open to put inside the potato. There were black parts of the skin in the potato, I didn't receive my lemonade, and even though I asked for no BBQ sauce on the deviled eggs, it was still added. I paid over $30 for this disappointing meal. When I called to complain, a woman named Jessica at Logans Roadhouse didn't care, offer to fix the issue, or make a new dish. I was met with silence on the phone, so I hung up. I will not order from Ember BBQ again, as this was my first experience, and I will never eat at Logan's again. I am upset and plan to get my money back.

The steaks were ordered medium to medium rare and all came to the table cooked well. The servers were quick, but had to reach over other dishes to deliver the plates. Overall, not bad, but for a $28 steak, expectations are higher. It seemed that perhaps there was a new cook in the kitchen, as everyone in our party of ten noticed.

I took my family of 6 for a Sunday dinner and sat right away. the waitress was very fast with refill and food service. we enjoyed the salmon, chicken tsartes, hamburger, steak and spirituosen! everything was prepared for perfection! the tellers are full. Feel free to share 1 plate for a lighter meal.

Very happy my parents I decided to come to Logan’s! We all had ordered and then noticed the special, Prime Rib! Dad I changed to prime rib. We all got salads as our sides. Nice size salads. Almost could make that a meal. The fresh made bread was brought out piping hot and very tasty. Our prime ribs (rare mid-rare) were very good! Good seasoning flavor. The au jus and horseradish sauce is good! Moms chicken fried steak was fork tender. We were all very impressed. Will come back!
