However, the new menus were confusing. There were no pancakes or French toast listed anywhere on the menu. There were only combinations with meat and eggs. Ruby said I would be able to order blueberry pancakes. But then, of course, I didn’t know the price of any of these items before ordering. In addition, with all the combinations and “build your own” options on the menu, and the newer “up charge” sides, it was not clear on the menu which sides were up charges. I would suggest figuring out your pricing of sides so they are all the same. In summary, the food and service is consistently very good at Cracker Barrel restaurants.
I don't treat myself to eating out often, but I was on a 4 1/2 hr trip and needed to eat some breakfast, be it Cracker Barrel has always been a go to eatery in the past, I decided to stop and have an order of Mama's French toast, bacon and eggs over easy with coffee and water to drink. I can say I left the table filled to the gill and my server way very attentive to keeping my coffee filled and checking to see If I had any other needs.
Was very busy and waitress was as attentive as she could be. We were seated in the corner with barley enough room to move around. Both myself and the lady behind me. I understand seating is set up to place more people, but accommodate everyone's body types. Other than that, food was good and hot as well as fresh.
This is the best Cracker Barrel we’ve encountered. We visited on a busy Sunday morning but everything was clicking really well. Hostess stand, server, and food were all great. Our server, Luke, was fantastic. All staff seemed to be hustling and friendly.
The AC was on and it was way too cool in the restaurant.
