St. George's Plaice - Conwy

Visited on Sunday night by storm eunice when it was closed everywhere (it was only the last choice by far the most distant from our apartment. friendly, helpful service from chap there work. not cheap, over £30 for two fish chips and two sausage chips, but then it is not a cheap meal at other places, let alone on the sea. I was told it would be a waiting time (it was a quiet night, so happy to wait for fresh as something that waited! and eating was delicious. thin teig on the fish that was delicious, and well cooked chips. four almost empty plates. I sometimes had larger portions, but who needs to be filled? we were all satisfied and enjoyed it.

This review is simply awful! I recently spent £12 on a fish and chips meal with curry sauce and I was very disappointed. The food tasted extremely bad, especially the curry sauce which was runny and unappetizing. The chips were cold and seemed like they had been sitting out for a long time, probably frozen. The fish was not fresh and dry, with soggy batter. The customer service was also terrible, as the lady serving me was preoccupied with her phone and even eating chips while assisting me. This restaurant should not be in operation and needs to be shut down. I definitely would not recommend dining here.

The food at this restaurant is average, but the prices are too high. The staff is extremely rude, almost aggressive. I would prefer to eat plain dry bread than dine at this establishment.

Absolutely disgusting food and terrible customer service. Man serving was akward and rude. Took food back and refused any offer of apology or refund. Manager was rude. 3.95 for frozen oven chips. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

This restaurant was absolutely terrible in every aspect. The man serving had no customer service skills and was extremely rude. We were charged almost £14 for one portion of fish and chips with mushy peas, which is way too expensive. The chips were dry and black in places, the fish was greasy, and we only received half a tub of peas. We had to sit outside at dirty tables surrounded by seagulls, eating with wooden forks. This place should be closed down immediately.
