The atmosphere and interior is really lovely and there is live music on a Friday but the food is just average and expensive for what it is.
Visited for an evening meal, the food was the worst I’ve ever had anywhere, and I paid £110 for the privilege. Raw dough on pizza, you could literally see through it and sadly, it was a young child who had eaten half before I realised. My pizza was overcooked and chewy. The crispy beef in the tacos was burnt beyond recognition and the burger patty is a frozen one. Given the prices you pay for this place, it’s quite shocking. Credit where credit is due, the seating area outside is beautiful and the staff are great. They kindly offered to take a pizza off the bill which I appreciate. A place for drinks in the sun, this is your place. If you want good food, please stay well away. I’ve genuinely had better food in a cookhouse pub which is worrying.
My family attended here today because it looks a nice place , however looks can be deceiving . The food was poor and so was the service . Oh dear , just hope the rest of our holiday in Wales is not such a bad experience..!
Consistently good service, food, drinks and ambience. I own a boat on the marina and I’m in here twice a week. The young team are very friendly and are very patient towards their customers who I observe can be quite a challenge. I’ve eaten off the breakfast and lunch menu many times and it’s always been fine. Ignore the ‘it’s pricey’ comments. The food is good value and given the recent years of labour and raw materials price increases, I think the place has done well to stay competitive. Keep up the good work
