Stonehurst Manor - Conway

By far the best birthday I've ever had. The staff is so friendly and so courteous and as an additional bonus: the food is amazing! The beef talloin was such a rash that I would eat for the rest of my life. When we were greeted by so warm smiles (and two very nice dogs), I knew this birthday weekend would be wonderful. The staff had surprised me at dinner at the night of my birthday and it brought me to tears. These are the little things!! And they all notice them. Really such a special and amazing experience. I can't wait to go back, definitely needed soon.

The Stonehurst Manor is a must-see destination in the White Mountains of Conway New Hampshire. The view of the mountains is very inspiring. The rooms take you back in time, the staff is both knowledgeable and polite. While you are there, I suggest you relax at the beautiful fireplace in the library and enjoy one of their typical drinks. Then enjoy locally born cooking inspired entrees, you will not be disappointed.

The staff there are some of the most friendly and hospitable people I've ever met during the stay at hotels in my 34-year-old life. The atmosphere there is also professional and cozy. This is almost impossible to find with today's corporate atmosphere that rains up there. The Stonehurst Manor is head and shoulders over them all. One of the waitresses was exceptionally beautiful that I forgot their name, but she is blond hair and a very sweet voice. My girlfriend felt sick during the first night stay and she was over all accommodations with Tums and Ginger-Ale and simply had the sweetest setting about the whole situation. The next day she didn't even wait for us, but she came by to say hello and check how we did it. She also gave many recommendations on things in the area, which gave us many ideas for things to do with the children later this summer. The food is some of the most amazing foods I've ever had and maybe just be the best steaks I've ever had in my whole life. And breakfast. I recommend the benefits of beef and eggs. The chef is great.

We always enjoy a visit to Stonehurst Manor. It has everything: convenience, charm, a fabulous staff, comfortable accommodations, and delicious dining. We have stayed in pet-friendly rooms and in the manor itself, where we've had rooms with a fireplace and this visit, one with a whirlpool bath. All have lived up to our expectations.

Loved our couples weekend. I was disappointed that I did not book a room right in the Manor. We had accommodations around the side/back with great views on the 2nd floor which did not have direct access to the manor. We had to walk out side to get to the lounge and restaurant. The room was older but very clean. The food is AMAZING and the lounge is so cozy with the fireplaces lit. I definitely recommend staying.
