Visited The Star pub in Stone yesterday for lunch after a two hour walk. The staff were very helpful and polite even though they were extremely busy ....

Extremely friendly staff and nice informal atmosphere perfect to break up the journey to the Lake District

Great location but food is very average at best and poor and service.

A real good tasty hot meal served very quickly and the Star was very busy too.
