Ashley's Italian Deli - CONSHOHOCKEN

Conshohocken standby Lenny's does not disappoint. Ordered two outstanding sandwiches there today. Both were stuffed with delicious juicy tender meat on long Italian rolls. The Pork Italian had the delicious pork and gravy along with broccoli rabe and sharp provolone. The roast beef also came with an excellent juicy gravy and a nice side container of horseradish. The fries were perfectly crisp, probably battered and a nice portion. We also tried a bag of the house made pretzel nuggets that were seasoned with Old Bay Seasoning. They were delicious and can't wait to go back to try some of the other seasoning selections. Service was friendly and fast.

Convenient little deli. We wanted to grab some sandwiches for lunch on the weekend and I've passed Lenny's on the way to work and thought to give it a go. I had a hot roast beef with mild provolone and I think my wife had a turkey sub, and we also got an order of mozzarella sticks. I thought the sub was pretty decent. Pretty generously filled, though the meat reminded me more of a processed, cold cut roast beef than sliced off a roast. Flavor was good and while hot with some juice, not overly wet so the roll retained structure. Price was a little more than I would have hoped for what you get, but not terrible. Convenient enough to work that I'd try them again... always like an Italian sub.

We got a cheesesteak Italiano. It came with broccoli rabe and sharp provolone cheese. We took our cheesesteak italiano to Conshohocken Brewing Co's Conshohocken location down by the bike path. The cheesesteak italiano was served on a good Conshohocken Bakery roll. There was a good amount of meat but it may have been a touch dry. The broccoli rabe was good. There was a good amount of sharp provolone cheese and it had a pretty good melt. Where the meat, broccoli rabe and cheese were melted together very well this was a great cheesesteak and that was 80% of the cheesesteak.

One of the best delis in the area, and not one to pass up! Delicious sandwiches of all sorts guaranteed to leave you drooling for more! Highly recommend the meatball and chicken parmesan sandwiches, two classics in my book!
