Sonic Drive-in - Conroe

The staff here is incredibly incompetent. The chili cheese fries I ordered were the worst I've ever had. I requested mustard, and I certainly got it—way too much, in fact. It felt like they just dumped it on without any care. The chefs need serious improvement. There was enough mustard for six hot dogs!

My dining experience was exactly what I expected. The service was timely, even during busy periods. The prices are reasonable, and the area is well-maintained.

I ordered the popcorn honey BBQ chicken nuggets, and when I received them, they were all rock hard. I tried to check if there was any chicken in each nugget, but there wasn’t. Sonic is my favorite fast food place—I’d choose it any day over other restaurants. However, this experience was a huge letdown for me, and now I don’t plan on ordering the nuggets again, because I don’t want to waste $10 on something like that. I’ve been to many Sonics in Conroe, but this was my first time at this location, and I’m really disappointed.

Great prompt service. Not with the napkins. Good for your ass. Parking: available a lot.

You can live on it, but I always feel like I am paying for a mediocre product. I find burgers and chicken sandwiches better elsewhere, fries better elsewhere, and some of their other sandwich offerings better elsewhere. But here is where Sonic shines in their desserts, drinks, coneys, and chili cheese tots. Those items keep my family coming back to Sonic. What I wish Sonic would do is improve everything else on their menu so I can come back and say that Sonic doesn't have anything lack luster on their menu.
