Pie In The Sky Pie Co - Conroe

I was driving by and noticed this restaurant, so I decided to turn around and give it a try. The girls behind the counter were really nice. I ordered from the menu and also tried a loaf of banana bread. However, while I was waiting for my order, an older lady walked past me several times very closely without acknowledging me or excusing herself, which made me feel a bit invisible. Aside from that, the food was good, and I hope everyone is friendlier the next time I come back with my family!

To be fair, I do usually enjoy bold flavors, but gravy is one of those things that shouldn’t overwhelm the rest of the meal. Since I’m pregnant, my taste buds are heightened, and some flavors I used to love have become off-putting. We shared a pie sampler that included buttermilk pecan, apple, chocolate silk, and cherry pies. Nobody liked the chocolate silk, and the cherry was just mediocre. The apple pie tasted mostly like dough, but the buttermilk pecan was excellent—I would definitely return just for that when I can have it with coffee again. The sampler comes with ice cream, but I didn’t try it, so I can’t comment on it. Just a heads-up, this place is a seat-yourself establishment, and you order at the register when you walk in. The seating is quite limited, so if you’re looking for a sit-down meal with a waiter or waitress, this isn’t the place. The women’s restroom could definitely use some cleaning. The staff at the counter were friendly, though. Overall, if you’re in the mood for a variety of pies, it might be worth a visit, but if you're looking for a decent meal, I would recommend going elsewhere.

We absolutely loved this restaurant! We were looking for a light lunch since we had evening plans, and this place was conveniently nearby and sounded appealing. I ordered the Cuban sandwich with a side of potato soup, while my mom had the chicken salad on a croissant along with a hash brown casserole. Both dishes were fantastic. We also shared a pie, choosing a slice of buttermilk vanilla pecan and a slice of strawberry rhubarb. If I’m ever in town again, I will definitely make a stop here!

Fun place just a few miles off the 45. Great place to come in and enjoy some delicious pies with some fantastic staff to accommodate you. If you're a busy body, this is the idea place to come, forget about time, enjoy the flavors of your meal, andsoak in the atmosphere.

I had an excellent experience at this restaurant. The service was quick and friendly. The burger was delicious, and the wrap was spot on. The key lime pie was exceptional, but I couldn't enjoy the pecan pie because it had cinnamon, which overpowered the original flavor for me. Overall, a fantastic visit!
