Johnny's Italian Steakhouse - The Woodlands

Brunch was great and Bently was a pleasure when we had our server!

My husband and I came to brunch and it was great! We sat promptly in place to be in the restaurant, we were in a huge room in the back with plenty of space, so everyone was not stacked on top of each other. The fresh laundry table was a nice touch. In the hope that a Mother's Day brunch will take place this year, we will be there!!

We were in Johnny's two other years for Easter brunch and that was by far the worst. that will definitely be our last visit. In earlier years we sat outside on the terrace. This year we found ourselves in the room with the buffet. The food was cold and overcooked and the ambience was missing and remembered a sad scene from a nursing home.

I had a party of 8, we had to wait on silverware, dishes were dirty, food was cold omelette was horrible . Worker at carving station was eating meat as he was carving it. Not a good experience for the price. I would never patronize this restaurant again.

Went for Friday special prime rib but after ordering was told that they were having oven problems so prime rib would not be available for two hours. Ordered Steak Oscar and house special steak, both of which were mediocre at best. Desert was Limencello cake which was very dense and nearly frozen. At least the cake was only $8 since the rest of meal was a bit pricey. Nearly $200 with tip for 2 cocktails, 2 entrees and one one shared desert. Best parts of the meal were the bread and the cocktails. There are at least 10 better and less expensive choices for steakhouses in this area of town.
