Chipotle Mexican Grill - Conroe

The rice, beans, and barbacoa were more flavorful and better cooked than at other Chipotles I've visited, with the beans being soft rather than slightly crunchy. I would definitely recommend stopping here. Food: 5/5

Unfortunately, this restaurant has gone downhill and continues to decline. Yesterday, I had the misfortune of interacting with an employee who was rude, rushed me, and had a poor attitude not only towards me but also towards others. To make matters worse, she seemed more focused on her friends dining in the restaurant than on the customers. After we were seated, I noticed that she had given me the large chips I paid for, so I went to inform her. She stared at me for a few seconds, then placed a bag of chips on the counter instead of handing it to me. I thanked her, even though she didn’t offer an apology or explanation. I'm not sure why she was in such a hurry, especially since it was quite slow at the time. I think someone called her Michelle. The food was decent today, but the poor customer service really affected my experience. I left feeling disheartened and uncertain about returning.

I would rate this restaurant 2 stars because they checked the food temperature, which is a requirement in Texas for serving chicken. Despite it not being busy, the restaurant was quite dirty. The trash was overflowing, to the point where people were placing their garbage on top of it! The floor had food and napkins scattered around, and the tables were not cleaned. I understand that busy periods can be chaotic, but it was clear that the rush was over, and it was time for the staff to clean up the place.

The cost of a meal at Chipotle has become ridiculous. They were always on the higher side, but after this meal I probably won't go back. For a steak bowl with extra steak, guacamole, chips and a drink, my sum was over $25. For the cost of this meal I could have gone to a real steakhouse. The service is an assembly line restaurant without emphasis on the customer himself, taking into account the layout. I will say the food has a good taste and is filling due to the amount of rice and beans they offer.

We ordered lunch for our office and I called and requested certain side items with the manager and when we received our order the food looks thrown together the bags have sauce spilt everywhere soaking bags and bowls and the items sides requested are missing. I called to speak again with manager to let her know and she told me that I ordered through door dash that should not matter and she said she told whoever yo place the items with the order and it was not and being that I specifically asked her the first time she should had rechecked the order before sending it out.
