El Paso Mexican - Conover

The best Mexican I've ever had. The prices are amazing. I don't know how they stay open with such low prices. The beautiful wood work will take your breath away.

El Paso in Conover is my go to spot for lunch. They have the best Ceviche de Camaron I've ever had. No one can compare to theirs.

I used to work right beside El Paso in conover and their food was always great. But the last few times I've got food take out. There has not been so great today. I caught in an order The lady on the phone was very polite. She told me 20 minutes to pick up. I arrived around 20 minutes my food was in the window. I'd order the ACP. I went out to the car because I have a dog with me Open my box. It took a first bite. The chicken is pretty much burnt on one side. I guess. Maybe they got busy and left it on the grill too long but it never should have been served to the public. It should have been tossed. One side of the chicken looked great but the other side had black char marks on it and when I took my first bite that's all I can. Taste is like burnt food and the food was cold. Lukewarm I should say not exactly cold but nowhere near fresh after I waited 20 minutes to pick up a fresh order of food to me this is something that they had messed up and instead of throwing in the trash and losing a little bit of inventory because the cook had got busy or whatever and forgot about the chicken. So for the sake of losing the piece of chicken, they served it and lost a customer ? I was there at 12:20 12:30 in the afternoon when business was booming but that's when the food should be the freshest when you have plenty of people there. The last few times I've ate there, it's the opposite. Maybe the food's better if you go during slow hours. Maybe they don't have enough kitchen help to produce good quality food with all the covet and everything that's happened. But if they keep going it the way they're going they'll end up out of business eventually. Because the food sucked

The food was so good and so much of it. The staff was very kind and attentive to our needs. We will come back again! This may be our new go to for Mexican food!

The food here was delicious! We had shrimp tacos, oysters, platillo especial. The toquito was a real Mexican toquito. That coconut mojito... Best mojito I have ever drinked.
