Excellent Sunday roast Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Kid-friendly, Great value

All good except the food and drink prices which are on the expensive side relatively speaking. £17 for fish and chips is excessive in my opinion. I am not in London. Has the feeling of a chain which is a shame. Noteworthy details: Beautiful hotel and grounds with access to Lake Coniston, just a short walk from the village.
