However the atun encebollado was once again served on a sea of oil and lacking in flavour (too many onions and now they serve a different cut of tuna (mormo which is not as exquisite as the contramormo (but the price has remained the same! 18€ . The revuelto de bacalao is still divine.
Spacious seating terrace inside (but make sure you arrive befor 9.30 pm if you have not booked). Waiters are efficient. First course was Revuelto de Bacalao (cod scramble) which was divine very tasty. This was followed by Atun Encebollao (tuna in onion). At 18€, even though the tuna was tender and tasty, (contra mormo) there were only 4 pieces of it on the plate and LOADS of tasteless onions and the plate flooded in oil. The sauce was so oily it was not pleasant to even dip your bread which was very disappointing. Dessert was homemade flan de turron, which was nice but presented on a rather small glass. Overall the quality of the food was very good but I think overpriced.
From the looks of the exterior we never would have gone in, but a local friend told us it was the best. And she was right. Very pleasant dining room and large terrace. Great views. The menu was very unusual an the food was beyond compare. Exceptional service, too.
Muy bonita terraza y con excelentes vistas al atardecer. muy buena comida. sitio más que recomendado en conil.
Gran atención, rápida y con opiniones sinceras (que es apreciada) por los camareros. un par que también explica el plato y mejor manera de probarlo (en caso de que sea un plato diferente o con varias elaboraciones). temblando el atún morrillo al plato y muy bueno también las albóndigas corvinas. todo acompañado de maravillosas vistas de la playa.
