El Pincho - Conil de la Frontera

We visited El Pincho twice whilst on holiday in Conìl. We had el Carne Roja which was absolutely divine!! You are given a sizzling stone to cook the pieces of steak yourself....... wonderful The Patatas Bravas were also delicious...... they had a hint of curry in the sauce which was very, very tasty. We also had the Ensalada de marisco which was fresh and very good.... and last, but not least .... the Mejilliones el vapor!!!!! Just Wow!!! Never had mussels so delicious in my life. We found the staff very helpful and the prices were also reasonable. I would highly recommend El Pincho to anyone in the area

This is the place to eat if you want to get away from the tourist area. Located in a side street heading towards the old town. Very popular with the locals and getting a table can be difficult. However, if you have the time just sit on a bench nearby and wait for one to become available. Service is excellent with the food being excellent value. The menu offers a sufficient choice and there is also a specials board. The food is freshly cooked and the brochete cordero we ordered was superb. A real gem to soak up the local atmosphere (albeit a bit noisy at times) and sample good Spanish food.
