It was a pretty steady flow of traffic coming and going, but I was not impressed by the taste or flavors and I will not be back. At first I thought the flavors were interesting based off the names, but once I tasted them; I was no longer interested. One flavor said it had bread in it. Another had mimosa and the other one I tasted had pineapple and chocolate; they were NOT good. Not to mention the restaurant looked like a storage space on the inside. There are stacks of stuff up against some of the walls. It just looked like it had been abandoned and they decided to sell ice cream out of it on a whim. The porch on the front is so spacious, but the tables and chairs are broken and wobbly. There was a vacuum attachment laying under one chair and a table was being propped up with paper towels. The table we sat at continuously rocked whenever we touched it and all of the chairs at our table had bent legs. What is really going on here? The swing out front looked really inviting, but based on the tables I was afraid to sit on it. I ended up tossing the majority of my ice cream because it just didn’t taste good. I wouldn’t try this restaurant again because I don’t see how you could get ice cream wrong, but like I said people were coming and going a lot. My friend and I were really curious about that. The young man inside was helpful and shared recommendations and explained flavors to us. I did not see him wash his hands once while we were there and he also didn’t wear gloves while scooping ice cream. He did go to the back once to get a flavor for us, so he could have washed his hands back there. I really can’t be sure, but in my presence he did not wash his hands. The location was easy to find and there is ample parking next door. We were there on a Sunday, so the parking lot next door was empty because the businesses were closed. The bus out front or really cute and a good photo opportunity too. We had a coupon to try this place out. We tried, we won’t be back.
The homemade icecream here is great! They also have bubble cones and lots of toppings. The pickle icecream (may be seasonal) is surprisingly good!
The Atlanta Passbook brought me here. It was just ok to me. I was expecting more. The staff was very helpful with letting me try multiple flavors. Ended up with the coffee toffee flavor. Banana pudding was also a fave for me
Had an EXCELLENT experience here this week. Even after just opening up after a meeting we were given excellent service and EXCELLENT ice cream! They had my FAVORITE ice cream flavors! Including but not limited to SUPERMAN ice cream! (I’ve searched high and low for it in stores) Very refreshing to see a nice ice cream shop in town! I wish nothing but success!!
My wife and I visited this location a few weeks ago and I’ve been meaning to leave a review but kept forgetting. We stopped in on our day off and my wife got the Superman ice cream. I got a turtle milkshake. Both delicious. Great customer service. Will definitely visit again.
