Groundwork Common - Concord

I wish I could give Groundwork Common six stars because it is head and shoulders above the majority of coffee houses out there. The clean, modern decor with open spaces and plenty of light is very appealing. The service was friendly and incredibly helpful. The food was amazing! I ordered the "Goat Lady" plate with locally made bread, local goat cheese, and local strawberry jam. I washed it down with a delicious mocha. A perfect way to start the day, and I am already looking forward to returning to Groundwork Common in the future.

This restaurant is truly fantastic! From the owners to the workers and the overall atmosphere, everything about it is wonderful. The food and coffee are delicious, and you can tell that they put a lot of love and effort into each recipe. There is always a friendly face to greet you at the counter, and you will never leave disappointed.

I live in the small city of Mount Pleasant, right in front of Concord, and we have no good coffee options. Zero. I love when I have the extra time to come to Verb (Groundwork Common) and have a good laugh! The owners and employees are very friendly to all customers and quickly get to know their names. The food is delicious, and while some reviews mention it is a bit expensive, I always feel it is worth the price for the quality. The food is always fresh and they use ingredients from many local farmers. I love their latte, it's my drink of choice, and my favorites are the maple butter and the black and tan! It's always a pleasure to stop by for a meal or meet a friend to catch up!

Absolutely love this place! coffee, eating and people! such a special community there is here with a cozy and cozy atmosphere! many thanks to the incredible owners and the entire staff to the others the way they do!

Excellent food, great coffee drinks especially the chai and cortado!
