Benihana Concord CA

I enjoy Benihana, but we had to wait for an hour after being seated before a chef arrived. This really dampened the mood. If there aren't enough chefs available, they shouldn't accept reservations. The quality of the food seems to have declined compared to before. The service was decent and the sushi took 30 minutes to arrive. The beer was cold but served without a glass. Additionally, the prices have gone up.

The food and service were excellent. I will definitely recommend Benihana to all my friends and family.

We had a reservation but still had to wait 30 minutes to be seated. The waiter was slow and forgot to bring us our soup and salad. The chef had to fetch the sauces because the waiter neglected to bring them. The quality of the food has declined and considering the high prices, the service should have been much better. We have always enjoyed dining at Benihana, but this experience may have been our last. We paid premium prices for a mediocre experience typically found in a shopping mall restaurant, not a fancy upscale one.

Food and service were exceptional just that the overall cleanliness is really something that disappointed me. Floor was slippery, tables were not cleaned well and most importantly the restrooms were really so dirty.

Reservation was at 7pm didn’t sit till 7:15 and then server did not even greet us until 7:50 when I asked if a server was coming. Then because they were so behind there was no interaction with the kids while cooking. It was definitely disappointing
