The service staff is friendly, but the food was disappointing. Everything we ordered was overly salty. Despite being hungry, we found it difficult to enjoy dishes like sisig, crispy pata, and sinigang because of the excessive saltiness. This was not our first visit to the restaurant, but the flavors were not as good as we remembered.
I used to give this restaurant a 5-star rating, but recently the food quality has been lacking. The last time we ordered the Kare-Kare, the meat was tough and undercooked. You can't serve half-cooked vegetables - they should be fully cooked. The Lechon Kawali was tasty, but the portion size was too small for the price.
Great authentic Phillipines food here, with great service, nice decor, and plenty of seating space. Food was served quickly when we were here at off-peak hours, and tasted great with fresh ingredients all around.
Weekend lunch with friends.Lumpiang Shanghai Spring rolls with port inside. The wrap was crispy. Not bad.Fried Chicken To be honest, I don't really understand why their chicken is so popular. It was kinda dry and tasteless inside... The fishy sauce was such a weird condiment, I could not figure out why they think it was a good combination.Kare-Kare The peanut sauce was indeed very thick. My friends were guessing they might have added a lot of peanut butter in there. It tasted good for the first few bites, but you'll feel greasy after having more.Bangus Sisig Greasy. Minced creamy milkfish with a lot of oil. Not my type.Garlic rice was good, but again a lot of oil.Halo halo was great for dessert.Service was good overall. For Filipino restaurant I've only been to Tinuno and this one, and so far I prefer Tinuno.
