Lagos Lounge - Concord

This is the best Nigerian restaurant I have visited in Toronto so far. The food is delicious, the ambiance is pleasant, the establishment is clean, and the customer service is excellent. I highly recommend trying their roasted fish - it is incredibly moist and packed with flavor.

I recently tried this restaurant for the first time to sample some Nigerian Jollof rice and assorted meat, and I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious the food was. The atmosphere was great, the staff were very friendly, and the prices were reasonable. The meal was so good that I ended up taking three to-go packs with me. I will definitely be returning soon.

Beautiful lounge, amazing warm atmosphere ???? ... had fun with family and friends for my birthday dinner. Tasty meals especially the suya and spicy goat meat (asun). Highly recommended.

If Google allowed me to give 0 stars, I would. But I have to pick 1 5, so I will pick 1. I had an online call from 6 7pm. Decided to sort out dinner early. I have a friend who introduced me to Nigerian food which I loved! and so I thought to find a place. I saw over 120 reviews and 4.3 rating? Must be good, right? Spoiler Alert: No! . I called at 435pm. I ordered the Egusi Soup with Garri. I specifically asked if it would be ready in 30 minutes and was told yes. I walked there and I arrived at 510 40 minutes later . The meal was not ready. I couldn't wait and asked what was available. Told only the soup and meat. I was upset but took it still had the audacity to charge me full price for an incomplete meal $30 . Got home opened it and it was an overly oily, watery soup with 1 big bone surrounded by just inedible fat. 30 dollars for that? I called back asking how to process a refund? They offered to give me a different goat dish for free instead. By the time my call was over, it was too dark to walk alone and I was not going to exert more effort walking there for 20 minutes and 20 minutes back. Terrible service. Terrible food. Terrible experience. I want to support such places but this is what deters me. I will obviously not *be returning, nor recommending the place to anyone. I will file a dispute claim with my credit card company for services not rendered.

I have been searching for a place like this for a long time! This lounge had everything I wanted, such as good ambiance, delicious food, fantastic music, a clean atmosphere, and a cozy environment. The staff were friendly and the DJ had me dancing all night. 5 stars!
